Chieftain The Chieftain is the guild leader of Riot. He has final say in all guild matters, but must remain open to the opinions and suggestions of his guild members. He delegates responsibilities to his trusted officers, but remains directly responsible for much of the background work that goes into the guild. War Chief A War Chief is an officer of Riot. This position comes with much responsibility, as each War Chief is responsible for one major aspect of the guild (Recruitment, Raid Leadership, PVP Leadership, Foreign Relations, etc.). War Chiefs demand respect, and have nearly unlimited authority over the rest of the guild. This rank is extremely difficult to attain and requires great dedication to Riot. Recruitment Officer Darke The Recruitment Officer is one of the most important positions in Riot. The position may only be held by one who embodies our ideals and can portray them accurately in both in-game chat and forum posts. Internal Affairs Officer Electra The Internal Affairs Officer is responsible for keeping tabs on the members of Riot, keeping track of their activity or inactivity, dealing with guild members who have allegedly broken our rules, and making recommendations for promotion or demotion. Foreign Relations Officer [Vacant] The Foreign Relations Officer is Riot's ambassador and representative in all cross-guild interactions. He is responsible for seeking out alliances with respectable guilds that share our values, and for maintaining relations with these guilds once we've allied with them. The Foreign Relations Officer is also responsible for keeping tallies on instances of griefing or abuse by other guilds, and making "Enemy Status" recommendations to the Chieftain. Community Management Officer Monk The Community Management Officer maintains our website (www.riotaoc.com) and our forums (www.riotaoc.forumup.com), and acts as both a Moderator and a content manager. In conjunction with the Chieftain, he brings news and updates to the website. Event Organization Officer [Vacant] The Event Organization Officer plans and executes guild functions. This position requires imagination and motivation, as the sky is the limit. Raid Commander [Vacant] The Raid Commander is responsible for, in conjunction with the Chieftain, scheduling and leading dungeon raids and appointing Class Leaders. He should know each dungeon inside and out, and be able to lead and organize dozens of players through Ventrilo. He must also be able to accept criticism and advice while maintaining control over the raid. PVP Commander Dnatrance The PVP Commander is responsible for, in conjunction with the Chieftain, scheduling and leading PVP raids and mini-game events. He should know each mini-game like the back of his hand and be able to execute a number of strategies, dynamically leading the group based on the actions of the enemy. Treasurer Jpeg The Treasurer keeps the guild bank organized while keeping tabs on our Guild City progress. He is entrusted with all of the guild's money and resources, and all bank-related requests should be made through eitiher him or the Chieftain. Elder An Elder is a sub-officer of Riot. Serving as an assistant to a War Chief, an Elder has no particular authority over the ranks beneath him, but earns the favor and respect of the guild through his deeds. This rank may only be attained through recognition of exceptional service to a War Chief, and may be lost if such service does not continue. Kinsman A Kinsman is a trusted member of Riot who has made himself known as a valuable asset to the guild. It may take weeks or months before one advances to the rank of Kinsman, depending on the member's participation and enthusiasm. It should be considered a great honor to achieve the rank of Kinsman, and most members will never progress beyond this rank. Comrade A Comrade is a player who has been welcomed to Riot, but who has not yet proven himself. All recruits start at this rank, and should expect to remain there for at least a few weeks. |
